The story follows Issei Hyodo, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. Issei is reincarnated as a demon, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Rias Gremory, a high-level demon who is also the prettiest girl on Issei's campus. probably contains spoilers: Dxd is just too good it's not just a fan service show it's actually has a plot and story and it'll only get better according to the Light novel it's about a 17 years old boy Hyoudo issei obsessed by b**bs , unfortunately he was killed in his 1st date by his GF Raynare that turned to be a fallen angel and he was reincarnated in devil by high class devil Rias Gremory to make him her pawn alongside the group of Kiba,koneko,Akeno and Asia that's where the story and adventure and fan service begins with devils-fallen angels and angels and the most important the Dragons. I was actually was going to give him 10 but the exaggerating use of nudity made it 9. Protagonist Issei Hyodo is a typically perverted high school student who can't believe his luck when he has his first date with an attractive girlÂ… unfortunately for him she is a fallen angel and she kills him! Things do get better though; he is reincarnated by Rias Gremory, the most desired girl at the school who just happens to be a senior devil. Now Issei is one of her junior devils; a situation he is quite happy with. As things progress we learn that Devils, Angels and Fallen Angels are in a state on conflict.<br/><br/>Over the course of three seasons Issei finds himself fighting a number of foes as he tries to impress Rias and various other girls who work under her. As well as plentiful action there is plentiful fan service with most of the girls appearing naked at some point; especially the well-endowed Rias. It could be easy to right this off as just another ecchi show but if you can get past the nudity there are some good characters plenty of laughs and a decent plot. The main weakness is that the fight scenes to drag a bit as the characters spend too much time talking about what is going to happen rather than just getting on with it. Also the humour is frequently toned down a bit too much during these scenes. This isn't enough to spoil the series though. I'd certainly recommend this to anime fans who aren't put off by the occasional bare breast and likes a mix of comedy and action. Apparently there will be a fourth season at some pointÂ… hopefully not too long from now.<br/><br/>These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.
